Structural Medicine SpecialistTM Training Certification Program
Donna Bajelis will lead a two-day workshop Understanding and Treating Upper Extremity Pathologies: The Structural Medicine Approach at the 2012 Symposium on Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Participants will be exposed to a paradigm shift in identifying, evaluating and treating upper extremity pathologies. Knowledge of myofascial meridians along with structural and functional analysis will be used to uncover three-dimensional spiral rotations and restrictions. Participants will learn detailed history taking as well as myofascial length testing for the purpose of uncovering contributing factors to upper extremity dysfunction. These may include myofascial, joint, neuromuscular, lymphatic, autonomic nervous system and psychological/emotional components. Participants will learn how to create and implement a customized treatment approach that can globally transform their client's posture, improve their function and decrease their pain levels.
